Waverly Hills Sanitorium has been at the top of our list of places we wanted to visit. So when we found out The Nightwatchers were planning a trip there and we could be there over night, we didn't hesitate. We secured our reservations as soon as it was possible, we didn't want to miss out on this one.
The flight from LAX was long but un-eventful we got through security with no problem even though we were packing concealed ghost hunting equipment. We arrived in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday evening and we were able to enjoy the town of Louisville that evening and all day Saturday. We weren't sure what the town was going to be like but we were surprised at how much there was to do around Louisville.

What?!?! Imagine our luck-there happens to be a Ron Paul Rally and we actually have time to go see it.
Ron Paul. It was a great experience to be able to be a part of a Ron Paul Rally.

As we arrived at Waverly Hills Sanitorium, the storm clouds were beginning to gather and we knew we were in for some bad weather. We were meeting other members of the Nightwatchers (who let us know our entrance into Waverly was delayed for an hour and a half) and getting to know everyone when the clouds opened up. We are from Southern California so during the first downpour of the night we saw more rain then we usually get in a whole year. We had to run for the shelter of our rental car and dove in soaking wet and muddy. The deluge didn't last long but we were hit with several more drenching rains before we were able to enter Waverly.
We met members of Central Indiana Paranormal and Scott from Ghostly Talk.
